Jaanihanso

Alvar and Veronika, the owners of Jaanihanso Cider House, like to joke that historically, one of the best places to start a business is a garage. And that’s exactly where their story begins. It took them several years, however, to create a cider with a true Nordic character from local Estonian apples. Their “cider philosophy” is based on the belief that cider is a natural product, and its most important ingredient is time—time that allows the cider to develop its own unique flavor. They produced their first cider in 2013.
