As Māris jokes: "We are plums, but we love apples!" Together with his wife Dace, they have been nurturing cider making in Latvia for over fifteen years. According to the locals, Māris once decided that cider must become the most popular drink in Latvia — after all, apples are in no short supply here. Every year, cider fans are treated to their limited-edition Vintage Cider, with one of the dominant apples in these ciders being the Lithuanian Pepin.
